House of Don Box
Don Box attracts some “interesting” attention from time to time. Last night, I ran across a site that seems to be completely dedicated to Don. It is like one of those celebrity fan sites that mirrors the actual site of the celebrity.

The nicest thing on the site was a reminder of an old photo I took back in the Indigo days.
I was giving a 200 level talk on Indigo security in 2004 or so (I think). I wanted to have some humor in the talk, as all the security talks I have seen are so dry that I tend to want to drive a nail into my forehead to feel anything at all. I know security is a serious topic, but so is the rest of life (you are going to die after all) and we somehow find a way to laugh through a good deal of it.
Don agreed to do a series of photos with me to outline the security concepts of CIA and AAA. The above photo was one of those in the series. The obvious intent was to parody the old Get Smart series. I haven’t seen the new movie, so they could have update the cone of silence to this level of serious security…
