BOXT boilers FAQ's
We've gathered some frequently asked questions to help you in choosing a boiler with BOXT.
No, but you can if you want to.
You can put down up to 50% of the total price as a deposit, and pay off the rest over the payment term, with an APR of 10.9% on the 3, 5 & 10 year plans and an APR of 0% (interest-free) on the 1 and 2 year plans. You'll be able to adjust the amount of deposit you pay when you choose pay monthly at checkout.
Our partners, BOXT, offer a full end-to-end service for purchase and installation of their boilers.
However, should you wish to buy a boiler without installation, you can find a range of boilers on diy.com.
Don't forget, you must have a boiler installed by a Gas Safe engineer.
No, your Gas Safe engineers will make sure that surfaces are protected and the area they're working on is always clean and tidy.
You can rest assured that all BOXT installers are professional, experienced central heating engineers and are Gas Safe certified.
Not from BOXT, but you will as part of your manufacturer's guarantee. Every new BOXT boiler comes with a manufacturer's guarantee which is dependent on which boiler you have installed.
Manufacturer guarantees are:
- Worcester Bosch - up to 10 years
- Ideal - 7 years
- Baxi - 7 years
- Navien - 5 years
As part of your installation service BOXT will register your boiler with the manufacturer for you, you don't need to do anything to activitate your guarantee.
If you wish to cover your wider heating system - BOXT offer home cover plans which are available after you purchase your boiler.
If you choose to pay in monthly instalments, you'll apply for credit through BOXT's payment partner Divido to Novuna Consumer Finance.
At checkout, just select pay monthly.
BOXT offer a range of payment plans over 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 years, including 0% APR available over 1 or 2 years. It’s 10.9% APR for the other plans.
There is also the option to leave a deposit of up to 50% at the time of ordering, but you don’t have to on any of BOXT's plans. By leaving a deposit you will reduce your monthly payments and reduce the amount of interest you pay, on the interest-bearing plans. You then pay back the amount you borrow month by month, including any interest if applicable. The first payment is approximately 1 month after the installation but Novuna Consumer Finance will write to you and confirm all the details.
If you would like to pay your finance off before the end of the agreement, contact the finance company directly who will give you a settlement figure and a length of time that figure is valid for.
